Main Focus:
Practical aspects (tips and tricks) of catheter ablation of various supraventricular arrhythmias and idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias, using case-based learning
Safety of catheter ablation
Target Audience:
Physicians and associated professionals who are looking to perfect their procedure workflows in catheter ablation of a broad spectrum of arrhythmias
Program Objectives
- Provide a review of different strategies of catheter ablation in various supraventricular arrhythmias and idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias
- Demonstrate such strategies using selected case-reports
- Suggest safe strategies for transseptal and pericardial puncture
- Discuss safety issues and how to be prepared to handle the crisis
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify techniques to improve ablation success for supraventricular arrhythmias and idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias, including use of advanced imaging
- Learn safe strategies how to perform transseptal or pericardial puncture
- Understand complications of catheter ablation and how to prevent or treat them
